CS&A Designer

Lead the delivery of innovative Civil, Structural & Architectural solutions, supporting the successful execution of complex site infrastructure and modification projects.

Our Client has a requirement for a Lead CS&A Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract or permanent basis in Warrington.

Role Purpose:

• Drive the design and delivery of temporary structures, enabling works and site modifications.
• Support the development of practical, safe and buildable engineering solutions from concept through to construction.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership throughout design development and implementation phases.

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop layouts for security enclosures, buffer stores and external weatherproof structures.
• Define and coordinate the scope of internal and external strip-out and modification works.
• Produce high-quality technical drawings, details and design documentation to clearly communicate design intent and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to verify design scope, identify interfaces and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Support the successful delivery of safe, efficient and buildable CS&A design solutions from concept through to construction.
• Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to ensure engineering requirements are effectively communicated and delivered.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

• Strong civil and structural drawing and detailing experience across a range of engineering projects.
• Proven experience designing, detailing and specifying temporary structures, including:
  • Heavy interlocking concrete block enclosures.
  • Scaffold structures.
  • Temporary fabric and weatherproof enclosures.
• Experience producing designs for specialist contractor delivery.
• Previous experience delivering work within the nuclear industry is highly desirable.
• Proficient in CAD and drawing editing software.
• Experienced in locating and managing engineering drawings using Cimage.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality technical documentation.
• Strong collaborative working skills within multidisciplinary engineering environments.

Additional Information:

• Due to the nature of the work, applicants will need to meet residency requirements for UK Security Clearance.
• Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance without caveats.
• Candidates must be sole British nationals.
